Government backed BHIM app Vs Investors backed private apps  It is a government owned app, there is a preconceived notion that anything related to government is solid but when it comes to service, it is something not so sure about. However, here the service is directly owned and derived by government with no third party or private company.

To clear the confusion of Bhim vs Paytm, here are some solidifying facts ; The BHIM app is backed by the government of India which uses the solid payment options which include your Aadhar Card, your Bank Account, your IFSC code, mobile number.

On the other side, apps like paytm are backed by private companies and investors where the payment option relies on merely your phone number.

Security and Safety  Bhim app is secure with multi-level authentication. This makes it more secure for a normal user. The 3-level authentication includes device id or mobile number, the bank account number, UPI pin. This multi-level security is really very good feature in the app.
